Current Event

Current event is a subject where I can pick up the newspaper and find something that interests me, read it, and I have a choice to blog it or do a short summary to my mom. The sort of summery that I am talking about is where I find important parts in the paragraph and read those back to my mom.
So...today I will be telling y'all what I read about in a short summary or narration (whatever you call it).

There was a deadly bus crash in Palm Springs California. Thirteen people are said to be dead, and thirty one are injured. This is a strategic accident that happened while construction work was being done. Highway patrol officers were slowing down traffic to let workers string wires across the freeway. The bus was said to be coming from a casino coming down the freeway. The semi truck was at the speed of 5 m.p.h. and the bus at 65 m.p.h.
The crash was obviously caused by the driver who may have been drunk, taking drugs, or fatigue. But police are still investigating the crash.
